There are ways and means of receiving payment into your credit card, though they are heavily frowned upon by eBay. If you want to pay by credit card, remember many countries still permit the merchant to pass the costs of doing so to the payer.

They may also ask either party for more information before approving payment or shipment of goods. They state they fight for sellers when a buyer raises a chargeback without good reason, so that vendors do not lose the payment and the goods.

ppPay is operated by UK online auction house eBid.net It has a very limited coverage, made even more limited in October 2008 when both companies implemented server level access restrictions following their second massive DDoS attack in under six months. Prior to the lock-out that closed their sites to anyone outside of the 18 operating countries of eBid, ppPay was only a viable payment solution for residents of the UK and several West European countries, due to an IP address verification system implemented in 2006, that shut thousands of users out from their accounts.
