2Checkout Inc. (2CO) is a reseller for thousands of online businesses. They also operate a full featured online checkout and payments service that is portable if you have an advanced level website, such as one built with osCommerce or similar.

AlertPay
AlertPay offer both personal and business accounts with flexible configurations of options and the ability to withdraw received funds by bank transfer or cheque. They are based in Canada but process payments from and to worldwide. They have a simple to install plug-in module for popular shopping carts.

AllPay
AllPay offer a wide range of Bill and Payment processing solutions including regular online payments and credit card processing, as well as cashless and international payments solutions.

Amazon Payments
Amazon Payments are familiar to third party vendors and shoppers on the site, they now also offer a portable solution for use with merchant’s own websites, as well as for independent sales and shopping channel venue sites.

AnyPay
AnyPay is more than just a traditional pay-by-email service. They offer various mass pay options with funding direct from the payer’s bank account, including a specialist service for website operators with affiliate marketing programs that engage other site operators to advertise the account holder’s products and services.

AuctionCheckout
AuctionCheckout has partnered with BidPay and Authorize.Net to provide a replacement to BidPay. With Auction Checkout Gold credit card payments can be accepted for auctions and Websites. Buyers can click and make payment securely and quickly with no registration or enrolment required. It claims to be completely integrated with eBay and Overstock Auctions, for whom it offers exclusive and preferential rates.

AuctionChex
AuctionChex.com is licensed and regulated by the UK’s HMRC as a Bureau de Change, Cheque Casher and Money Transmitter. They have provided cheque and money order interchange (e.g. US Money Order to UK cheque) for the online auction selling community for many years. They support United States Dollars (USD), Great Britain Pounds (GBP), Eurozone Euro’s (EUR) and S.African Rand (ZAR).

Authorize.net
Authorize.Net enables merchants to authorize, settle and manage credit card and electronic check transactions via Web sites, retail stores, mail order/telephone order (MOTO) call centres and mobile devices. The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway can help merchants to accept credit card and electronic cheque payments. More than 220,000 merchants use Authorize.Net

BACS transfer
BACS is the Banking Automated Clearing System and is widely used for mass-pay transactions such as large workforce salaries. It can be used with any size of transaction value, and with any quantity of transactions, in a single submission.

Bill-Me-Later

BillPay.ie
Users can now pay over 65 bills online with BillPay.ie which also provides for them to be paid automatically with Autopay and bill payment status can be checked in the Payment Status screen. It is a unique free service from An Post for managing bills online.

Credit Cards
OK, we all know what credit cards are, this is just here to check if you’re awake or not. There are ways and means of receiving payment into your credit card, though they are heavily frowned upon by eBay. If you want to pay by credit card, remember many countries still permit the merchant to pass the costs of doing so to the payer.

Cash2India
Cash2India works in partnership with the Silicon Valley Bank of America and the Punjab National Bank of India for over-the-counter cash transfers to, and withdrawals in, 39 countries. Recipients do not need a bank account or Internet connection to receive funds. Senders can fund their money transfer with PayPal, a credit card, or bank account. The service advertises transfers clear within minutes of deposit, and goes so far as to offer free delivery of the received funds to anywhere Within India. It is one of the Xoom group of companies.

CheckFree
CheckFree offers a wide range of online and offline services including cheque conversion, bill payment, and banking solutions in addition to online payments and funds receiving. It is now part of Fiserv. The personal account services facilitates paying a huge list of US utilities and finance accounts.

Google Checkout
Google Checkout is a merchant services solution with integrated checkout offering fast and secure transaction processing with automated withdrawal to bank on a daily basis. Rapidly growing in size and banned by eBay for being a competitive product to PayPal, it’s main inhibitor is that webmasters must purchase and install SSL certificated security before it can be “made live” on e-commerce sites – this requires a level of technical expertise that many do not possess.

HyperWallet
Now used by more than 200 financial institutions across Canada and established enterprises worldwide, hyperWALLET claims to be a leader in payments innovation due to the benefits of cost-effective and secure global funds delivery through a patented, global-grade payment platform, integration with leading global financial networks, and multi-currency e-wallet & mobile payment solutions. It’s one for “the big boys” – its website seeks “multinational” and government agencies as users.

iKoBo
iKoBo is a person-to-person money transfer service where withdrawals are made via a Global Bank of Commerce Visa® Prepaid Card. The service has been re-organising and the new service is due to go live 4 Dec 2008. When it first launched years ago, it tried to compete with PayPal for online marketplace payments, and in 2007 withdrew from that competition to align itself against wire services like MoneyGram and Western Union.

Interac-CertaPay
Interac Email Money Transfers are a simple, convenient, and secure way to send and receive money directly from one bank account to another. All that’s needed is access to online banking through a participating financial institution, and money can be sent to anyone with an email address and a bank account in Canada, without sharing any personal or financial information. It’s an online alternative to cash and cheques.

LinkPoint (FirstData)
First Data makes buying and selling easier. Many people do business with First Data everyday, without realising it. MoneyBookers

MoneyGram International
MoneyGram has been providing trusted payment and financial services since 1940 when they began under the name Travelers Express in Minneapolis, Minn. USA. They operate at a similar level to Western Union with a stronger range of online facilities. MoneyGram has more than 162,000 locations in 180 countries and territories.

NetBanx
NetBanx combine the technology and innovation of a leading payment processor with the strength of a global payment network. From call centre payment processing to online checkout pages, they power business growth with smart online payment services. They enable you to offer customers a wide range of payment options, from credit card and debit card deposits, to localised payment options, from e-wallet payments to internet banking. With their billing tools you can offer flexible payment plans or subscription services.

NoChex
Nochex are a leading independent UK based online payment company, specialising in providing smaller online businesses with simple, accessible, easy to use, online payment services when looking for a ‘complete’ and flexible online payment package. They offer personal, small seller, and full merchant accounts with a range of website integration tools from simple pass-through to full API merchant services.

OboPay
Send money to loved ones when they need it right away. Pay a cash merchant and more direct from your mobile phone. Ease, convenience and instant notification that funds have been received. No fees to sign up. No charge to receive money. Just send a text message from your phone or use their website. Currently (2008) USA only.

PaisaPay
eBay India’s in-house, in-India, payment service similar to the offerings from Xoom, but with a much larger participating banks list. Full details available within the Help pages on eBay.in

PayGate
PayGate is a South African credit card processing company focusing on providing e-commerce solutions. The PayGate product provides a simple and effective payment processing interface to various Banks, with many large (and small) direct mail and Internet companies using PayGate successfully since 1996. PayGate is a secure, reliable, easy to use, and cost effective credit card processing facility available in various versions to cater for all companies large and small. All are easy to use and extremely cost effective.

PayMate
Paymate provides an online payment service for buyers and sellers to complete their online transactions. Sellers can register and start accepting online payments in just 3 minutes. They state they pay most transactions in one business day, enabling cash-out faster, and say it is easy to integrate Paymate into individual websites or auction listings. Buyers do not need to register to make a payment.
Paymate assesses sellers, buyers, and every transaction, to assess the risk for both parties and approves or declines the payment accordingly. They may also ask either party for more information before approving payment or shipment of goods. They state they fight for sellers when a buyer raises a chargeback without good reason, so that vendors do not lose the payment and the goods.

Pay-Me-Now
Pay-Me-Now software is a leading provider of internet-based transactions with the ability to process major credit cards and online checks. PayMeNow features a complete suite of free tools such as a virtual terminal, free shopping cart integration and HTML weblinks, free recurring billing, free online check set up, check guarantee and electronic check conversion via Magtek MiniMICR check reader, card present virtual terminal via keyboard card swiper, card-present debit transactions via PinPad, free fraud screening, and a comprehensive online reporting system.

PayPal
PayPal should need no introduction, it is owned by eBay, and is possibly the largest person-to-person online payments processor on the internet.

ppPay
ppPay is operated by UK online auction house eBid.net It has a very limited coverage, made even more limited in October 2008 when both companies implemented server level access restrictions following their second massive DDoS attack in under six months. Prior to the lock-out that closed their sites to anyone outside of the 18 operating countries of eBid, ppPay was only a viable payment solution for residents of the UK and several West European countries, due to an IP address verification system implemented in 2006, that shut thousands of users out from their accounts.

ProPay
ProPay is a “lower 48″, US-only, online credit card processor. Both buyers and vendors must be within the continental USA for them to be accepted as users. In Autumn 2008, ProPay allied with eBay as the first of the new-style “approved” payment processors following eBay’s introduction of electronic payments only for the US site.

Protx
Protx, a division of Sage, is a UK company that provides a range of services allowing processing of secure credit and debit card payments online, over the telephone, or via mail order. Their packages are based on volume – under 1,000 transactions, 1,000 to 5,000 transactions, and over 5,000 transactions, per month. Fees are scaled accordingly.

SwiftPay
Swiftpay offers choice when shopping online. Swiftpay members can choose from a range of methods to fund their account, from credit card to check to online banking facilities. You then have access to your money at all times and can use your Swiftpay accounts for a range of online payments.

USAepay
Since 1998 the USA ePay team has been making it possible for businesses to accept credit cards. Whether your business is running in a Retail, MOTO, eCommerce or Wireless environment USA ePay has multiple payment solutions which can help any type of business process transactions quickly, safely and securely.

Western Union
Consumers have looked to Western Union® to help them stay connected to loved ones around the world for more than 150 years. They are a global leader in money transfer services, offering the ability to send money to more than 320,000 Western Union Agent locations in over 200 countries and territories. Use Western Union to transfer money, send bill payments, and purchase money orders, and prepaid services.

WorldPay
WorldPay offer customers the facilities to accept payments via internet, phone, fax, and mail. Major credit cards are accepted including debit cards and localised payment cards like Maestro, Laser and Electron. WorldPay’s diversity of payment methods gives customers the ability to manage their business in different currencies and languages, offering a truly global solution.

Xcoin
Xcoin are one of the very few online payment processors to allow secondary users (e.g. employees) to be registered onto the account, with assigned privileges and activity restrictions. Percentage-only based fees make them extremely efficient for micropayments – 3.5% of a 10-cent or 10-pence sale is how much?

Your recipient can receive cash in local currency or US dollars or in many countries can have the money deposited to their bank account, or have it delivered to their home or business. Xoom offers money transfer services to over 38 countries worldwide.
