From time-to-time, I’ll be adding collections of info pages about both general and niche areas of particular relevance to home-based and small businesses.  This collection lends itself to the title “Trade Speak”

“Trade Speak” covers the jargon of Buying and Selling Online, Domestically & Internationally, and will be covering several specialist areas of this, listing terminology and explaining it in a way that beginners can understand, and experienced business people could find useful for ad-hoc staff training.

Common internal abbreviations, jargon, and symbols will evolve throughout the various series, and topic headers like this page will introduce and explain those.

The “active topic” symbol means there is a discussion board in our forums for this topic. Whenever you see this symbol, you can click on it to open a new page that takes you direct to the relevant discussion forum.

Depending on the level of the topic in the forum heirarchy, you might need to be a registered and active forum member (minimum 3 posts added to discussions) in order to see, or contribute to, the individual discussion board.  Forum membership is free and only takes a minute to complete.
