ShoppingAds Payment Changes

ShoppingAds, formerly AuctionAds and still part of the MediaWhizz group of affiliate advertising networks, have announced changes to how they will make payments from January’s payment dates.

Starting in the January payment cycle, they will be paying out Net30 – that is, December 2008 payments will be made on February 1st, 2009, and so on and so forth.

They claim to have made this adjustment in order to be able to pay all publishers as efficiently and completely as possible.

Sounds like more “eBay maths” to me – the eBay Partner Network (ePN) is one of their redirected affiliate systems.   ePN made a similar payment-delaying style of announcement a few weeks ago.

  1. Skip ebay and BEWARE of Paypal (owned by ebay)!

The extremely high prices, unfair new policies, banning of choice of payments, the overload of ebay’s new class of sellers (”Diamond Sellers” selling cheap, bulk-made, foreign goods) receiving millions of free listings, while burying smaller sellers items, who have suffered two recent fee increases, is causing ebay’s massive decline.

The arbitrary restrictions and suspensions of smaller users is killing fair trade on ebay.

Don’t forget that ebay owns Paypal and is now forcing the majority of it’s users to use Paypal ONLY…along with that, PLEASE check your Paypal user agreement which now allows Paypal, at it’s “sole discretion” to withhold users funds for up to 180 days!

Their are plenty of other venues, which offer FAR BETTER, customer service, lower prices, fairer and safer transactions, such as bonanzle, amazon and etsy.

Abusive generic accusation of improper action by East Asian manufacturers and resellers will not be tolerated, if you have genuine evidence, present it to the authorities not on blogs and forums. Without genuine evidence, it is heresay and libel, and reads only as racist & xenophobic protectionism – an action which the owners of this website abhor. A central tenet of this site’s policy is to promote freedom of international trade and an open global marketplace.
