Free French Listing on eBay on 15 Jan

eBay France are holding a Free Listing Day this Thursday (15 Jan 2009) for sellers registered on the French site and resident in France.

The promotion is for Auctions and BIN listings, including multiple quantity listings. Listing in 2 categories is permitted. It is open to both PowerSellers and non-PowerSellers.

Automobiles Accessories, Baby Gear, Sea-Doo, Jet Ski, Sailing & Cars are not included in the eligible categories.

With rumour of eBay France on the point of collapse regarding membership and listing numbers, it’s surprising they are not considering opening the promotion to all sellers in every country, which would allow them to emulate the growth of the UK and USA. But then, perhaps the other rumours regarding closing all the minor sites will become self-fulfilling prophesies?
