Bonanzle Nominated as Top eBay Alternative

Bonanzle has been nominated as a Top eBay Alternative in the Small Business Computing 2009 awards. These awards are voted for by users, which has the possibility to mean the sites with the biggest membership will win, so it’s important to cast your vote if you have a favourite site.

Bonanzle are up against some very stiff competition in the likes of Wigix, eCrater, and Etsy. Hopefully Bonanzle’s quick mention on Fox News will assist their bid for the prize. Bonanzle supporter AuctionWally apparently managed to facilitate that plug.

For the Christmas season, Bonanzle launched some new official artworks for linking to the site, courtesy of
Bonanzlers, kayceestudios (creator of the holiday graphics) and wahm (creator of the “check out my stuff” graphic).

In related news, there is rumour of a full affiliate marketing program for Bonanzle appearing next month. BuildaSkill will bring more information as soon as we have it, and I’ve tasked Gaz to get us signed up for it as soon as it appears.

Bonanzle’s Mark Dorsey has been back in our forums overnight, looking for queries and problems encountered by Bonanzlers (we all know that some questions and comments are not politic to post on the site concerned, therefore use our forum to discuss items you don’t want buyers to potential read on Bonanzle). Mark, as well as Henrietta, have offered support to Bonanzlers via the BuildaSkill forums – a very generous offer from them both, as it adds an extra daily task to their already busy schedules.
