Amazon Marketing beats eBay to IT for Xmas

Amazon are certainly on the ball this season. Hot from my mailbox is news that they’re pushing their large affiliate marketing base on the benefits of selling Amazon Gift Certificates in the run up to Christmas.
Their email advises -

And they’re right of course. Gift Certificates are not only the perfect foil against gift disappointment, they’re also a lot easier (and cheaper) to post to distant friends and relatives. I like the concept of being able to print them yourself – ideal for the last minute exchange of Christmas Cards for people you’d forgotten to send to at the start of advent. Scribble out the card, buy a gift certificate online from Amazon, print it, and slip it inside the card – easy peasy, job done.
