Have a Quickie Cheapie in Belgium
By Ed | September 20th, 2008 | Category: eBay BE | No Comments »eBay Belgium have just released a last minute announcement to say they’re offering cheapies tomorrow and Monday, so move quickly and drag some more punters into your current shop set up, to help you clear all those British sub-99p listings
The announcement is for Auction and BIN insertion fees only in all categories – and the insertion fee will be half price (rounded up to the next full Euro cent where applicable). Read the announcement in English in our forums (forum login required).
I like selling on Belgium, and it seems the Dutch, French, Germans, and Scandanavians like buying on there too. Everytime I throw a bucketfull of listings onto the Belgian site, I get buyers from all over mainland Europe. Maybe it’s the fact they use the Euro. Maybe it’s because they normally have so few listings they get reciprocal cross border visibility automatically. Or maybe it’s just that the chocoholics converge there for the best choccy stuff in the world?
Remember when listing, Belgium uses a comma to seperate the Euros from the cents (e.g. Eu 3,99) not the dot / period / full stop the rest of us use (e.g. 3.99) – stumped me for ages as to why Turbo Lister wouldn’t save my first Belgian listing that did.
